We understand that your husband is going through a difficult time, struggling to find a well-paying job and dealing with depression. Let's bring his situation before the Lord together.
Firstly, we want to remind you both of the promise in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." God is our provider, and He knows our needs.
However, it's crucial to align our expectations with God's will. 1 Timothy 6:8 (WEB) tells us, "Having food and clothing, we will be content with that." While we pray for a well-paying job, let's also pray for contentment and trust in God's plan.
Regarding depression, we want to encourage your husband to cast his burdens on the Lord, as it says in 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB), "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Let's pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother who is struggling to find a job and battling depression. We ask, in Jesus' name, that You would open the right doors for him, according to Your will. Help him to find his identity and purpose in You, and not in his employment status. Comfort him in his depression, remind him of Your unfailing love, and give him the strength to endure. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage both of you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ, as He is the mediator between us and God (1 Timothy 2:5). It's only through Him that we can approach God and receive salvation (Acts 4:12). Keep trusting in Him, and He will see you through this challenging time.
