Heavenly Father,
We come before You with a humble heart, lifting up this dear husband who earnestly desires for his wife's love to be rekindled. Lord, Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, "Love is patient and is kind; love doesnโt envy. Love doesnโt brag, is not proud, doesnโt behave itself inappropriately, doesnโt seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesnโt rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
Father, we ask that You pour out Your love into this marriage, that both hearts may be softened and turned towards each other. May this husband embody the love described in Your Word, and may his wifeโs heart be moved by his sincere efforts and Your divine intervention.
Lord, Your Word in Ephesians 4:2-3 instructs us to "walk with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." We pray that this couple can find unity and peace in their relationship, guided by Your Spirit.
We pray for healing where there has been hurt, for understanding where there has been confusion, and for a renewed commitment to each other. May Your grace abound in their lives, and may they find joy and fulfillment in their union once more.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
