We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking God's guidance and intervention in his life.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the importance of your son knowing Jesus as his Savior. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." (WEB) It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and His saving grace.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this mother's son to You. Lord, guide him in his schoolwork and social life. Grant him the wisdom and discernment to make the right choices. Surround him with godly friends and mentors who will positively influence him.
Most importantly, Lord, reveal Yourself to him. Draw him close to You, that he may know Jesus as his personal Savior. Open his heart and mind to understand the gospel, and grant him the faith to believe and accept it.
We pray that Your will be done in his life, and that he may grow to be a strong and faithful servant of Yours. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son, as the persistent widow did in Luke 18:1-8. Remember, our God is faithful and He hears the prayers of His children.
As for your son's challenges in school and his social life, remind him of 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (WEB) Assure him that God will provide a way out of every challenge he faces, and that with God's help, he can overcome them.
Lastly, we urge you to teach your son about the importance of obeying God's commandments, especially when it comes to his social life and interactions with others. Encourage him to be a light to his peers, reflecting the love and kindness of Christ in his words and actions.
