Amen, Sweaxulira! "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven" (Matt 18:19). Keep praying with us!
We understand your concern for your son Moses, and we join you in lifting him up in prayer. Let us first acknowledge God's sovereignty and His desire for all to live in obedience to Him. As it is written in Proverbs 22:6 (WEB), "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Moses to You. Lord, we ask that You soften his heart and turn him away from aggression, bad company, and harmful habits. Help him to find joy and purpose in You and in his studies. Grant him a desire to attend school and to glorify You in all that he does. Surround him with godly influences and protect him from those who would lead him astray. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue to speak God's truth into Moses' life. Remind him of the importance of obedience and respect, as outlined in Ephesians 6:1-3 (WEB), "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise, 'that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.'"
It is also crucial to address the issue of bad company. As the Bible warns in 1 Corinthians 15:33 (WEB), "Don’t be deceived! 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'" Encourage Moses to seek out friends who will have a positive influence on him and who share his faith.
Lastly, we want to ensure that Moses has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If he has not yet accepted Jesus as his Savior, we encourage you to share the Gospel with him. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Stand strong in your faith and trust that God is at work in Moses' life. We will continue to pray for you both.
