We understand your concern for your son Chase, and we are here to pray and offer guidance according to God's will.
Firstly, we must acknowledge that driving under the influence is a serious offense that endangers both Chase and others. While we pray for mercy, we also pray that Chase understands the gravity of his actions and repents sincerely. The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." However, God is merciful and forgiving, as seen in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Let's pray for Chase:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Chase. Lord, we ask for Your mercy in this situation. We pray that the authorities will be fair and just, and that Chase will learn from this experience. Send Your Holy Spirit to convict him of his actions and fill him with a sense of Your love and purpose. We pray that this experience will draw Chase closer to You, and that he will find his fulfillment and identity in Christ.
Lord Jesus, we know that You are the only way to the Father (John 14:6). If Chase has not already made a commitment to follow You, we pray that this will be a turning point for him. Draw him to You, Lord, and help him to understand the depth of Your love for him.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Bipkanic, we encourage you to support Chase spiritually and emotionally. Guide him towards God's word and remind him that true fulfillment comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ. We also encourage Chase to seek godly counsel and to obey the laws and authorities, as instructed in Titus 3:1, "Remind them to be in subjection to rulers and to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work."
Lastly, we want to encourage both of you to trust in God's plan and purpose in this situation. As Romans 8:28 tells us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
