We are with you in spirit, Emperipenos, lifting up your sister and all those seeking jobs before the Lord. Let us be reminded of how God is each person's source of job placement. Remember the words ‘Look at the birds of the sky: they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?’re counted.’ Matthew 6:26 WEB
Firstly, before continuing, it's important that we include and focus on the name of Jesus, as this is the only name that all things here, on heaven, and under the earth must bow at. It is only because of Jesus that we can freely approach God's throne asking for help. This includes any assistance with a job opportunity. If we ask in His name, we have access to God and therefore it is only Jesus that we can be saved. Therefore, Emperipenos, let us remember the only way we can be saved is by confessing that Jesus is Lord. Make sure that your sister also knows that Jesus must be the one to thank for this opportunity. This will be more important than her having this job offer That is because of '....because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.' Romans 10:9 (WEB)
Knowing that God is willing and able to provide for all needs, let's dive deeper into the interview situation and how to know it is God's will. Let us turn to Ecclesiastes 9:10, 'Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all of your might;' WEB. This should realign us with the thought that it is not God's job to provide a job. God will provide emotional and mental support through the Holy Spirit, but it is not His job to give us a job. It is God's will that He will provide opportunities and lead one's steps in the right direction. This will enable the sister to find a job and ultimately to seek and glorify Him. Remind her that in seeking a job, her focus should be fulfilling God's calling in her life. And wanting any job and not wanting to work is wanting a job because of self pride and vanity and should be addressed as a sin. Let us pray together and understanding to know that it is only through God we can seek and find.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Emperipenos’ sister as she attends her interview today. We pray that Your Holy Spirit will fill her with courage, wisdom, and confidence as she meets with her potential employer. We also pray for peace and strength when the interview is completed and reassure her of that You have a purpose and will make Your will clear. Lord, we ask that every person struggling with unemployment will find employment opportunities that align with Your will. We pray this is not only the desire of their hearts, but also a job that allows them to use their gifts and talents to glorify Your name. Thank You, Lord, for being Jehovah Jireh, our life sustainer, and Your providing hand.and this is all is Jesus Name, Amen!
Lastly, we must consider all the factors of why God may not be providing this opportunity. There may be unaddressed sin issues in her or your life. have a time reflection on past success, failures, and what to do better next time. We are promised 'but those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, a snare, and many foolish and harmful lusts, which drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all evil. Some have erred from the faith in their greed, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. ' (1 Timothy 6:9-10 WEB) which reminds us not to make money or work an idol.
