We are so grateful to join with you, Thorpyl, in lifting up your sister's newborn baby before the throne of grace. Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to God, as it is written:
"For 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB)
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine grace and healing touch upon Thorpyl's sister's newborn baby. Lord, You knit this little one together in the womb (Psalm 139:13), and we know that this child is fearfully and wonderfully made. We ask, Lord, that You would cover this baby with Your protective hand, and grant him or her health, strength, and peace.
If there are any health concerns or issues, Lord, we rebuke them in Jesus' name. We speak life and wholeness over this child, knowing that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37). Lord, we also pray for Thorpyl's sister, that You would give her the strength and wisdom she needs to care for this new life. Help her to rest in Your love and grace during this time.
Thorpyl, we encourage you to stand on God's promises for this little one. Remember the words of Jesus in Mark 11:24 (WEB), "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."
Lastly, if Thorpyl or his sister have not already, we urge them to call upon the name of Jesus Christ for salvation. It is only through Him that we can approach God's throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16).
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
