I am requesting prayers for my grandson cause he went back to prison and cause he was in a rehab and he doesn’t want to take his medication for the disease that he has so he got very violent and I am asking for prayers in the name of our Jesus Christ Amen

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles your grandson is facing, but we are grateful that you have reached out for prayer and support. In times like these, we must remember that God is always with us, even in the darkest of circumstances. The Bible tells us, "Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them; and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body" Hebrews 13:3 WEB.

Firstly, we want to commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. This is so important because as the Bible says "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. Jesus himself said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" John 14:6 WEB.

Your grandson's situation is complex, involving incarceration, mental health, and substance abuse. We need to pray for him and also address these issues biblically.

1. **Imprisonment**: While we don't know the circumstances leading to his imprisonment, we pray for God's mercy and justice to prevail. We also pray for your grandson to seek God's forgiveness if he has done wrong, remembering that "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" 1 John 1:9 WEB.

2. **Mental Health and Medication**: It's crucial to understand that taking medication for mental health is not a lack of faith but rather a responsible step in managing the health that God has given us. We pray for wisdom for your grandson to understand this, and for God's healing touch on his mind and body. "But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" Matthew 5:44 WEB.

3. **Violence**: We must strongly rebuke any violent behavior, it is not the way of Christ. God wants us to live peaceably with all men. "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" Romans 12:18.

4. **Substance Abuse**: We pray that God would deliver your grandson from any bondage to substance abuse. "Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father" Galatians 1:4 WEB.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister's grandson. Lord, You know the struggles he is facing and the pain the family is feeling. We ask for Your divine intervention, God. Soften his heart, Lord, that he may turn to You and be saved. Give him a spirit of repentance and submission to Your will. Help him to accept and manage his medical treatment, Lord, and deliver him from any bondage to violence and substance abuse. We also pray for the family, Lord, that You would comfort and strengthen them during this difficult time. We ask all this in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lastly, remember that God is always with you and your family. Keep praying and trusting in Him, for He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers according to His will. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
