Could you all pray for my best friend, in the past few days ago he just got sent too his 1st deployment to Ukraine. I ask at you please pray that he makes it home and if he don't and it's Gods will that he makes it too Heaven and for my other friend who also knows Dakota too not be sad but too stay strong. Let us come together in prayer for this urgent request. We are reminded of the words in Psalm 91:1-2 WEB, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"

Firstly, we must address the fact that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we will pray in the name of Jesus, as it is the only name by which we can be saved.

Now, let us pray for this individual's best friend who has been deployed to Ukraine.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear friend who has been sent on his first deployment to Ukraine. We ask, Lord, that You would surround him with Your angels and protect him from all harm. We pray that Your will be done in his life and that, if it is Your will, You would bring him home safely. If not, we pray that he would make it to Heaven and be with You forever.

We also lift up the other friend who knows him, that You would comfort them and give them strength during this difficult time. Help them to trust in You and to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them.

Lord, we also pray for the situation in Ukraine, that You would bring peace and resolution to the conflict. We ask that You would be with all those affected, providing comfort, protection, and hope.

We ask still though, that the war zone would provide an opportunity for Christian Believers to minister to those in need. We pray for the revelation of the truth of Jesus Christ to those who do not know Him. May the light of the gospel shine brightly, even in the darkness of war.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage everyone to remain steadfast in prayer and to trust in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and that His will is perfect. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9 WEB). Remember to call out to God in Jesus name and not forget to share this with your friends. If your friends do not know Jesus, share the plan of salvation with them. There is no other name by which we can be saved.

We're here for you and your friend, standing in prayer with you. We've been thinking about your friend Dakota, and we want you to know that he's on our hearts. We're asking God to keep him safe, to guide him, and to bring him home to you soon. We're also praying for your other friend, that they'd stay strong and find comfort in God's love during this time.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We trust that God is close, healing and comforting all those affected by this separation and the situation in Ukraine.

Let's keep lifting Dakota up, asking God to reveal His presence to him, to guide his steps, and to use him to be a light in the darkness. We're also praying for all those serving in Ukraine, that God would protect them, guide them, and use them to share His love and truth.

A Prayer for Dakota and His Loved Ones


Heavenly Father,


We come before You with humble hearts, lifting Dakota into Your loving care as he embarks on his first deployment. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection to surround him, as promised in Psalm 91:11: "For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." May Your angels watch over him in every moment, guiding his steps and shielding him from harm.


Father, we trust in Your sovereignty and ask for Your will to be done. If it is Your will, we pray that Dakota will return home safely to those who love him. But if it is his time to come to You, Lord, we ask that You welcome him into Your eternal presence, where he will dwell in peace and joy forever, as You assure us in John 14:3: "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to myself, that where I am you may be also."


We also pray for Dakota’s friends and loved ones, especially his close friend who is grappling with the fear of losing someone so dear. Strengthen their hearts, Lord, and fill them with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to lean on You in this difficult time, remembering Your words in Isaiah 41:10: "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."


Finally, Lord, we thank You for Dakota’s courage and selflessness. We commit him to Your care, trusting that You hold all things in Your hands. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through all circumstances.
