We understand your concern for your family's unity and your desire to prevent money from causing division. Let's begin with some scriptures for financial issues in families. Proverbs 3:9-10 (WEB) says Honor God with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase. So your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family. Lord, You know the struggles and the challenges they face, especially when it comes to financial matters. We pray that You would unite their hearts and minds, and help them to communicate openly and lovingly about their needs and concerns.
Lord, we ask that You would provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to manage their finances wisely and to honor You with their substance. We rebuke any spirit of greed, selfishness, or division that may try to come between them.
Father, we also pray that You would teach them to be content in all circumstances, whether in plenty or in want. Help them to trust in You and to seek Your will above all else. Guide them in teaching their children about financial stewardship and the importance of putting You first in all things.
Finally, we pray that if there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or strife among them, the Holy Spirit would bring it to light and help them to resolve it quickly and completely.
We ask this in the name above all names Jesus Christ, Amen.
Remember the words of Hebrews 13:5 (WEB): Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for God has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Trust in the Lord, and He will provide for your needs. May your family be drawn closer together as you seek Him first. Remind them to seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given as well.
