We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your family is facing, and we are here to intercede and provide biblical guidance. Let's bring your situation before the Lord in prayer.
We pray for a restoration of your family, Father, we know that You have the power to make all things new. We ask Your Spirit to move in their home, bringing unity, love, and peace, restoring what the enemy has sought to destroy. We realize that true unity is only possible through Jesus Christ.
We lift up the son, asking that You guide him, give him wisdom, and draw him closer to You. We pray that He will follow Your will in Your timing. We pray that You will give Him a desire to be a blessing to His family. We feel that he should honor his father and mother at this time and not move out. He needs to complete his education and with this knowledge and education, he will be able to be a productive adult in the future. In addition, we need to be content in all things. Let us look at a few verses.
Philippians 4:11 WEB
Not that I speak because of need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.
1 Timothy 6:6 WEB
But godliness with contentment is great gain.
We must consider the fact that it may be the parents' own actions leading to the friction and fighting in the home. We must consider what example they are presenting to the children. If the parents are fighting or acting in ways that is not of God, it could be causing the children to want to leave. The parents must be living in the example of Christ and the Holy Spirit must be flowing in their lives.
Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
Hebrews 12:14 WEB
Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord,
Hebrews 12:15 WEB
looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it;
We must be sure that we are following God's will in our lives at all times. We must be a living example of Christ in our children's lives. We must be sure that we are bringing up our children in the nurture and the admonition of the Lord as we are instructed in the Bible.
Ephesians 6:4 WEB
Fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
Colossians 3:21 WEB
Fathers, don't provoke your children, so they won't be discouraged.
We are instructed to be content, live in peace, and to love. We must apply compassion, love, and kindness to others. We must be faithful and true to our spouse and our children. We must maintain an environment where others will be drawn to Christ not to the things of this world.
In Jesus name we pray for these things. It is only through Jesus Christ we are able to receive these answers to prayer. It is only through Jesus Christ we are able to be saved.
Romans 10:9 WEB
that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:13 WEB
For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
1 Timothy 2:5 WEB
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
John 14:6 WEB
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Acts 4:12 WEB
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ in order to receive our prayers. We cannot expect to receive anything from God if we do not follow and believe in Jesus Christ. We must be sure that we pray in Jesus name. We need to have faith in Him and that He is able to provide the answers we are seeking. In addition, we must be praying daily and studying God's word daily. This is how we are able to grow in the things of God.
