We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles your daughter is facing, but we are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance. Let us seek God's will together in Jesus' name.
Firstly, let us address the concern about your daughter's anger and use of profane language. The Bible tells us, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." (Ephesians 4:29 WEB) We pray that God will help her control her tongue and channel her emotions in a healthier way.
Her absence from church is another concern. We are reminded, "Not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the worse, as you see the day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25 WEB) We pray that God will renew her desire to fellowship with other believers and grow in her faith.
Regarding the lies and the feelings of despair, we rebuke the spirit of deception and hopelessness. Jesus said, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." (John 10:10 WEB) We pray that God will reveal the truth to her, free her from these feelings, and fill her with His abundant life.
We also understand that she is blaming you for her feelings. We pray that God will give you both wisdom and understanding to navigate this situation. "The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy." (James 3:17 WEB)
Finally, we want to remind you both of the power in the name of Jesus. "In whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." (Ephesians 3:12 WEB) It is only through His name that we can be saved and have access to God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus. We lift up the daughter of our fellow believer to you. We pray for a change in her heart and her actions. We ask that you help her control her anger and her tongue. We pray that you renew her desire to fellowship with other believers. We rebuke the spirits of deception and hopelessness and ask that you fill her with your truth and your abundant life. We ask for wisdom and understanding for both of them. We declare all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for your daughter and to trust in God's power to deliver her. Remember, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much." (James 5:16 WEB)
