We are truly heartbroken to hear about the pain and distress you and your daughter are experiencing due to the separation from Lily. We will stand with you in prayer and seek God's will in this situation.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in His word: Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). It is crucial to trust in God's plan and timing, even in the midst of our struggles.
However, we want to address a couple of things in your request. It is important to note that God does not operate or deal with people based on our human understanding of evil forces or superstitions. We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Therefore, you need to put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:11) and not your own strength or understanding or ritualistic practices.
Additionally, we want to remind you that God's desire is for us to live (John 10:10 WEB) and that taking one's own life is not a solution. In fact, it is a sin. God wants to give you and your daughter hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We encourage you both to seek godly counsel and support during this difficult time.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up Phoemere and her daughter before your throne of grace. Lord, we plead for your intervention in their situation and ask that you work according to your perfect will and timing.
We pray that you would comfort them and provide them with your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We ask that you would guide them and give them the strength to endure this trial. We also ask you to give them wisdom and the appropriate resources to help them address the custody or visitation of Lily.
We pray for your forgiveness if there was any sin that was the cause of this separation. We pray that you would soften the hearts of those involved and that you would grant Phoemere and her daughter favor in this situation.
We rebuke any thoughts of suicide and ask that you, Lord, would remind them of your love and the precious gift of life.
And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked from him, (1 John 5:14-15 WEB). Therefore, we ask these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage both of you to continue to pray and seek God's face together. We urge you to look for a Bible believing church and pastor and seek guidance from them during this hardship. Remember that God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it, (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
We also urge you to study God's word and apply it to your lives daily. It is by God's word that we are strengthened, encouraged, and guided in our daily walk with Him.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen, (2 Corinthians 13:14 WEB).
