We are truly saddened to hear about the situation you are facing with your father. It is painful to see a loved one stray from the path of Christ and cause harm to those around them. We must remember that God sees the true intentions of the heart, and He is not mocked. As it is written in Galatians 6:7 WEB, "Don't be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap."
Your father's actions are not in alignment with the teachings of Christ. In Ephesians 4:29-32 WEB, we are told, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Don't grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
We must pray for your father's salvation and for God's protection upon you, your child, and your pets. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. And there is no other name given that we should be saved. Just as Jesus said in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Preilnor and their family. Lord, we pray for their father, that You would touch his heart and bring him to true repentance. Open his eyes to the harm he is causing and draw him back to You. We bind the spirit of manipulation and abuse, and we loose the spirit of truth and conviction upon him.
Father, we also pray for Your protection upon Preilnor, their child, and their pets. Surround them with Your angels and keep them safe from all harm. Give them Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and deliver them from the spirit of fear. We pray Jesus Christ your son will be in their home and protect them.
Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation and make a way where there seems to be no way. We trust in Your goodness and Your power to change even the hardest of hearts. We pray for more love and forgiveness in the home, knowing the promises in the Bible, such as Romans 8:28 (WEB) "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
For the promises of God are yes and amen. Father God, we pray for the good of your people in this home. We pray for this in the name of Jesus Christ.
Preilnor, be strong and courageous: God is with you. Continue to pray and seek God's will in this situation. Stand firm in your faith, and trust that God is working even in the midst of this trial. Remember the promise in Romans 8:28 WEB , knowing that God works everything together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose in Jesus Christ.
