Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister ### and ### and her cousin's daughter, ###, who is going through a season of severe depression. Lord, we ask that you would meet ### right where she is at. You are the God who sees and understands the depths of our hearts, and we know that you are able to bring healing and restoration.
Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We pray that you would draw near to ### in her time of need. Pour out your love and compassion upon her, Lord, and let her know that she is not alone. Surround her with your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We ask, Lord, that you would reveal yourself to ### in a powerful way. Open her eyes to see your goodness and your faithfulness. Help her to understand that true joy and fulfillment can only be found in a relationship with you. Let the light of your truth penetrate the darkness of her depression, bringing hope and healing.
We also pray for ###'s family, especially her parents and loved ones who are deeply concerned for her well-being. Give them strength and wisdom as they support her through this difficult time. Surround them with your peace and grant them the assurance that you are working all things together for good.
Lord, we believe that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We trust in your unfailing love and your perfect plan for ###'s life. May she experience the transforming power of your grace and come to know you as her personal Savior and source of true joy.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
