Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Mr. Foster and his prayer request to you. We ask that you grant him the strength and determination to stay nicotine-free. Lord, we know that addiction can be a difficult battle, but we believe in your power to deliver and set free. Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body." We pray that Mr. Foster will honor you with his body and find freedom from this addiction.
Father, we also ask for a sound and clear thinking process in Mr. Foster's mind. We know that the enemy seeks to attack our thoughts and distort our thinking. But your Word assures us in Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." We pray that you would guard Mr. Foster's mind and help him to focus on thoughts that are pleasing to you.
Lord, we lift up Mr. Foster's ministry to you. We ask that you strengthen and empower him to lead and serve diligently. May his ministry be a light in the darkness, bringing hope and transformation to those he encounters. Your Word reminds us in 1 Peter 4:10, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms." We pray that you would increase the effectiveness and impact of his ministry, touching the lives of many.
Lastly, we ask for the ability for Mr. Foster to communicate your truth in a way that younger generations can understand and relate to. May his words and paraphrases resonate with their hearts and minds, leading them closer to you. Your Word says in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." We pray that Mr. Foster's ministry will be instrumental in guiding the younger generation towards a deep and meaningful relationship with you.
