For Marriages Deliverance from the past

Lord, I pray that You would enable couples who are suffering in marriage to let go of their past completely. Deliver them from any hold it has on them. Help them to put off their former conduct and habitual ways of thinking about it and be renewed in their mind (Ephesians 4:22,23). Enlarge their understanding to know that You make all things new (Revelation 21:5). Show them a fresh, Holy Spirit-inspired way of relating to negative things that have happened. Give them the mind of Christ so that they can clearly discern Your voice from the voices of the past. When they hear those old voices, enable them to rise up and shut them down with the truth of Your Word. Where they have formerly experienced rejection or pain, pray they will not allow them to color what they see and hear now. Pour forgiveness into their heart so that bitterness, resentment, revenge, and unforgiveness will have no place there. May they regard the past as only a history lesson and not a guide for their daily life. Wherever their past has become an unpleasant memory, pray You would redeem it and bring life out of it. Bind up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Restore their soul (Psalm 23:3). Help them to release the past so that they will not live in it, but learn from it, break out of it, and move into the future You have for them. In Jesus Name Amen

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus on behalf of Sparklee and their prayer request. Lord, we lift up couples who are suffering in their marriages, asking for Your intervention and healing touch. We pray that You would enable them to let go of their past completely, releasing any hold it has on them.

Father, we ask that You help them to put off their former conduct and habitual ways of thinking, and be renewed in their minds according to Ephesians 4:22-23. Open their understanding to know that You make all things new, as stated in Revelation 21:5. Show them a fresh, Holy Spirit-inspired way of relating to the negative things that have happened in their marriage.

Grant them the mind of Christ, Lord, so that they can clearly discern Your voice from the voices of the past. When they hear those old voices, empower them to rise up and shut them down with the truth of Your Word. Where they have experienced rejection or pain in the past, we pray that they will not allow it to color what they see and hear in their present circumstances.

Pour forgiveness into their hearts, Father, so that bitterness, resentment, revenge, and unforgiveness will have no place there. Help them to regard the past as only a history lesson and not a guide for their daily lives. Redeem any unpleasant memories and bring life out of them, as You promise in Psalm 147:3.

Restore their souls, O Lord, as mentioned in Psalm 23:3. Enable them to release the past so that they will not live in it but learn from it, break out of it, and move into the future You have for them. May Your love and grace abound in their hearts, bringing healing and restoration to their marriage.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

And bless me to do all You have called me to do in the spirit of excellence for Your glory.

God bless me with the strength, desire, and passion to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
