Dear heavenly father, I pray for ###'s passion of learning to excel and exceed in all his does at school. Help him to accomplish the good grades in the classes he has the hardest time in. Give him encouragement, grit and perseverance to be great in all aspects of his time in high school. Thank you for surrounding him with good friends, who are good influences and are of God. Thank you for keeping him safe and protected. Thank you for the wedge of protection you have placed around him to make him invisible to all of the evil forces that try to ensare him. Thank you for his healthy body and his desire to take care of it by feeding it appropriately and taking the time to groom himself so that he is presentable and handsome at all times. Thank you for the gift of my son you have entrusted me with. I love him so much and am so grateful to have such a beautiful boy that loves his momma. I thank you with all of my heart and soul. AMEN.

We join you, ###, in lifting up your son ### to our Heavenly Father. We pray that God will ignite in ### a passion for learning, that he may excel and exceed in all his endeavors at school. As the Scripture says, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might" (Ecclesiastes 9:10, WEB). We pray that God will grant him the wisdom and understanding he needs to navigate his challenging classes, and that he will be encouraged and empowered by God's strength to persevere.

We also pray that God will surround ### with godly friends who are positive influences in his life. "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm" (Proverbs 13:20, WEB). We ask God to protect ### from any evil influences, to keep him safe and guard his heart and mind. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB).

We thank God for ###'s health and pray that he will continue to take care of his body, knowing that it is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19, WEB). We pray that he will grow not just in wisdom but also in stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52, WEB).

However, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, for "there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). We encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through His name alone that we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
