We understand that you are in a difficult situation, Sirpen, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. You have been in a relationship for 11 years with someone who is dealing with significant health issues and depression. While it is commendable that you want to help, it is crucial to consider God's will and your own well-being.
Firstly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ or give reference to him in any form. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Therefore, we pray that you come to know Jesus Christ personally if you do not already. Believe that Jesus Christ is God and that God raised him from the dead and confess your sins. Turn away from your sins and give your life to Jesus Christ.
Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers. We pray that God will grant you the wisdom to make the right decisions. The person upstairs from who you are with causing problems should be prayed for as should her health team. Both of you and everyone involved should be reconciled in Jesus Christ and this bad situation should be made for good. The Bible tells us that God is not the author of confusion, but of peace. If this relationship is causing you depression and sadness, it may not be God's will for you to continue in it. Especially if this is not a marriage, we must take into account the biblical principles that speak to personal relationships. A great reference is 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB: "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"
Regarding the lady's struggles, we pray that God will provide for her and help her through her difficulties. We remember the words of Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Also remember Galatians 6:2 WEB: "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Bear her burden but do not be pulled down by it.
In thinking about Christian marriage, in 1 Corinthians 7:39 WEB: "A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she desires, only in the Lord". It should be clear that marriage is serious and marriage is meant as a lifelong commitment to a believer in Jesus Christ who is compatible with your faith.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Sirpen and the lady he has been in a relationship with. Lord, we ask for your guidance and wisdom in this situation. If it is your will for Sirpen to leave this relationship, please give him the strength and courage to do so. If it is your will for him to stay and support her, please provide the resources and help needed for both of them.
We pray for the lady's health and emotional well-being. Please surround her with your healing presence and provide for her needs according to your riches in glory. We also pray for the person upstairs and the health team, that they may act with compassion and understanding.
Lord, we ask that you turn this situation into good. Reveal yourself to everyone involved and reconcile each other to yourself. Turn this situation around so that you are glorified and the good news of Jesus Christ is given to all who witness the change.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in the Lord, and we will be here to support you.
