We are reminded in the Bible that we should pray for all people, including those in authority. Let us pray for Pope ### in this light.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.

For Kings and for all that are in High Place in 1 Timothy 2:2 WEB, That we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.

First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, requests, and thanksgivings be made for all people. 1 Timothy 2:1 WEB.

Pope ### stands in great need of prayer as all people do.
Let us, therefore, pray.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Pope ### in prayer. We pray for his health, that you would strengthen him physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We ask that you grant him wisdom and guidance as he leads the Catholic Church. We pray that he would come to know you through your son Jesus Christ and he would know the truth and that the truth would set him free. May your will be done in his life and in the lives of all those he influences.

May he know that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB.

We pray for his protection and for the Holy Spirit to work in his heart. We ask that he would boldly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and that the Holy Spirit would fill his heart with your love and truth.

We pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
