We understand that you're dealing with a physical affliction, Carol, and we want to lift you up in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement. We also notice that Jesus was not mentioned so we want to discuss this as well.
Firstly, it's important to remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should take care of them as such.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB: "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
While you're taking vitamins and presumably other medication, trust that God is ultimately our healer. We also need to realize that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Let's pray for your healing:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Carol who is dealing with painful and uncomfortable lip blisters. We pray for Your healing touch upon her lips. We rebuke the enemy and we command this affliction leave her body and her lips to be healed, restored, and made whole again. We pray that You would also comfort and strengthen her emotional discomfort during this time. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
In this time of discomfort, remember that God wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7 WEB: "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
While it's uncomfortable and unsightly, and you may not want to go out, remember that God looks at the heart, and He loves you deeply. This is a temporary situation, and we believe that God will heal you.
If the blisters persist, we would also advise you to seek medical attention to rule out any underlying issues.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is very important to come to God by the name of Jesus. For more context read Acts Chapter 4.
Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
If you have not already, please consider putting your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. It is by His stripes that we are healed. It is by His death, burial, and resurrection that we have access to eternal life in Heaven. It is by His shed blood that our sins can be washed white as snow. It is only by this we can be saved.
We encourage you to also pray for forgiveness of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your life.
Romans 10:9 WEB: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Romans 10:13 WEB: "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'"
Carols, we hope this encourages you and remember that we're here for you.
