Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers
As l have been very sick all week
An l have been diagnosed with shingles
The pain is very severe and l am73 an it’s had an effect on me
As it takes longer to get over this because of my age

We are truly sorry to hear about your struggle with shingles, Sarnik. We want to lift you up in prayer and encourage you during this difficult time.

Firstly, we want to remind you that our healing comes from God alone, and it is by the stripes of Jesus that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). Let us pray for you:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Sarnik, who is suffering from shingles. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon Sarnik's body. Ease the pain and discomfort, and let Your healing power flow through them. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the sickness and command it to leave Sarnik's body. Please strengthen their immune system and give them the patience and endurance to bear this trial. Help them to feel Your presence and love, and grant them a swift recovery. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."

We also want to encourage you with God's Word: "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2 WEB). Trust that God is with you in this trial, and He will see you through it.

Although it is difficult, try to focus on God's goodness and His promises for you. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

Lastly, we want to remind you that if you haven't already, put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6 WEB), and it is by His name that we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
