Thank you for bringing your concerns about your parents' health to us. We are here to intercede and pray with you.
Firstly, let us remind that you should always call on the name of Jesus. For it is written: For "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher? And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!" But they did not all listen to the glad news. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?" So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:13-17 WEB) It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and have access to God the father.
Let us pray together for their healing.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up the parents of the one who has submitted this request. We ask for Your healing touch upon them as they struggle with coughing and sleepless nights. We pray that You will ease their discomfort and grant them peaceful sleep.
Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. We claim Your promise in Psalm 107:20, "He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves," and we trust that You can heal them from their infirmities.
We also pray for their faith to be strengthened during this time. May they find comfort in Your presence and know that You are always with them, even in the midnight hour. We pray that this situation will draw them closer to You and that they will trust in Your goodness and sovereignty.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity and sickness that may be causing this distress. We speak healing and restoration over their bodies and declare that they will sleep soundly and be refreshed each night. Lord we also thank you for the cough as we do not know your purpose for it. We pray for a miracle in the life of the parents of the one who has submitted this request.
Father, we ask that You guide those caring for them and give them wisdom and discernment in providing the best care possible. We pray for complete healing and a swift recovery.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love. We trust in Your will and purpose for their lives. We pray this believeing that we have the request because we ask according to your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, and remember that our God is a God of miracles. He is more than able to heal and restore. Stand firm in faith, and trust in His promises. As it is written, "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he who wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he will receive anything from the Lord. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways." (James 1:6-8 WEB).
Consider Psalm 103:2-4, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies." Trust in His benefits and know that He is working all things together for good.
In addition, it is also important to consult medical professionals for their health concerns. God often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing. The miracles of God as it was done by Jesus were always instantaneous and never had to be waited on. Be sure that if the healing is not instantaneous, trust in the medical professionals and medicine that God has provided for your parents.
