For healing for my father ### 70yrs old.

My father ### 70yrs old has coughing since a week. Especially at night time while sleeping time he coughs more. Throat irritation. Scratchy throat. Waking him up every night. Not letting him sleep peacefully. He needs to sleep well at this old age. He's unwell too. On medications. Feels dizzy. Had ### surgery Last year. Has ### also. Need prayer request for my father ###. Let him sleep peacefully. Don't let his cough disturb him. He has food swallowing problem he gets choking whenever He eats or drinks. Chewing problem. Cannot chew his food. Have mercy upon him. Pray for his good health.

We are truly sorry to hear about your father's health struggles. We will stand with you in prayer and believe in God's healing power. In Psalm 103:2-3 WEB it is written, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up the father of our friend who has reached out to us. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You would heal his cough and the irritation in his throat, especially at night. We pray that he would be able to sleep well and peacefully. You tell us in Your Word that You heal all our diseases and that by Jesus' stripes we are healed.

We also pray for his swallowing and chewing problems. Lord, You know every detail of his body, and You can heal him completely. We ask for Your divine intervention and healing power to manifest in his life.

Father, we also pray for his overall health and strength. We know that he had surgery last year and is on medications. We pray that Your healing power would flow through his body and make him whole. We come against any symptoms of dizziness and weakness.

We thank You that You have a plan and a purpose for his life. Help him to fulfill Your purpose for his life. We thank You that You are a merciful God, and You will have mercy upon him. We love You, Lord, and we know that You love him too.

We pray that he will know the great salvation offered by Jesus Christ. Knowledge of this great news of the gospel may be a source of emotional healing and hope as well. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

In James 5:14-15 WEB, we are encouraged to call for the elders of the church when we are sick, and they will pray for us, anointing us with oil in the name of the Lord. Dear Jesus,

We come to You tonight, thinking about our brother, this dear father. We ask that You would grant him restful sleep, free from coughing and throat irritation. We believe that You can touch his body and bring healing, just as You've done for so many others.

Lord, we also ask for Your healing touch on his swallowing and chewing problems. We trust that You can make a way where there seems to be no way. We claim Your promise in Psalm 103:3, "who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."

We pray for strength and health for this man, in Jesus' name. We claim Your promise in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

We thank You, Jesus, for being our Healer and our Hope. We trust that You have a plan for his life, and we ask that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
