We understand your desire to connect with these individuals, and we will join you in prayer for this. Before we pray let's consider some scriptures. In Ephesians 6:18-20 WEB it says, "with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints: on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak."
May we live up to this and speak boldly as we should. Let us remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We pray this in confidence knowing that we are in agreement with each other and God's will.
Let's pray together.
Almighty Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is eager to reach out to these two individuals. We pray that You would open a door for them today, that they may be able to communicate and connect with each of them. We ask that You would make their exchange fruitful. Your word says that "He who listens to you listens to me, and he who rejects you rejects me. And he who rejects me rejects him who sent me." (Luke 10:16 WEB)
We pray that these individuals would be receptive to the message, that they may listen and be open to the Good News of the Gospel. Help our fellow believer to speak boldly and with love, reflecting the grace and truth of Jesus Christ.
Please Lord, give them the wisdom to know when to speak or what to say. "Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one." (Colossians 4:5-6 WEB)
We ask this all in the name of Jesus Christ, believing that it is only through His name that we have access to Your throne of grace. We trust in Your will and Your timing. Amen.
