We are lifted up our hearts in prayer for Chiamaka Orie, your sister-in-law, as she undergoes a Cesarean section to give birth. We stand with you in faith, believing that God is merciful and able to bring her through this situation safely.
Let us remind ourselves of God's promises in His Word. In Psalm 116:1-2 WEB, the psalmist declares, I love Yahweh, because he listens to my voice, and my cries for mercy. Because he has turned his ear to me, therefore will I call on him as long as I live. This assures us that God hears our prayers and is worthy of our trust.
In this time of need, we come before God we should consider Jesus who is alive and sitting at His right hand interceding for us.
Therefore he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25 WEB.
We rebuke and correct the prayer request to be in Jesus Name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. To God be the glory, there is salvation in no one else! For there is no other name under heaven given among mankind by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB. We therefore pray in Jesus name according to John 14:13-14 Whatever you will ask in my name, that I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your mercy and grace for Chiamaka Orie. We ask for successful surgery, and a safe delivery for the baby. We pray for Your healing touch upon Chiamaka and for the medical staff to have wisdom and skill.
We pray that Chiamaka and the new baby will live and not die, but declare your works among the people. We stand on your promise in Psalm 118:17 WEB, I shall not die, but live, and declare Yahweh's works.
Please encourage Chiamaka's heart and let Your peace rest upon her and the family. In Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, for God is faithful.
In addition, consider the words of Isaiah 43:2 WEB, 'When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and the flame will not consume you.'
We trust that God will bring Chiamaka safely through this time, and we look forward to rejoicing with her testifying of God's goodness and mercy with you.
