Beloved of All
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that all who believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life"But what is meant by God"loved" the world? "Loved us because we were , or are, perfect?{Even after being saved}Peter denied Jesus 3 times before dawn.Others have fallen short. Does Gods love hinge on our perfection, in the sense that we'll never slip?Doesn't seem so.Yet I've seen ,even experienced, Christians whose love for you waxes cold when you might say something that's a little different from "their"way of seeing it, and then may from that point maybe "give you the cold shoulder" because you didn't "live up to their expectations."If Jesus did that, "threw everyone out" every time someone didn't" live up to His expections",non of us would still be under grace!!Request is that Christians don't just have a Christianity that revolves around their own feelings, but do it the way described. We shouldn't have to wait to be "perfect" to feel loved.
