Thank you for bringing these concerns to us in Jesus' name. We appreciate that you've come to us according to Matthew 18:20 WEB where "Jesus said 'For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.'"
Firstly, we want to commend you for seeking favor and guidance from God and for asking in Jesus' name. Let's approach God together concerning Iren and her health.
We pray, "Father, we come boldly before your throne of grace. Isaiah 53:5 WEB says, 'But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.' Healing comes from the cross of Christ and is a gift from You, Father. We bring Iren to you and ask that you restore her health. We pray according to 3 John 1:2 WEB 'Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.'
Father, we also ask that You would prompt Iren to reestablish contact and make it possible for a visit before her upcoming trip. However, let us hold fast to Jeremiah 29:11 WEB ' I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.' Regarding Irens potential visit, please make it occur only if it aligns with Your will for both of you.
About your concern regarding R and his parents and the potential work opportunity, we pray according to Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB 'Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.' Lord we trust You to guide this situation, "The hearts of kings are unsearchable by us; and who except God can discover what they are thinking or searching for. It is only God alone" Proverbs 25:3 NJB
We rebuke the anxiety and fear that may be rising from their silence. Instead, we claim the promise in Psalm 130:5 WEB 'I wait for Yahweh. My soul waits. I hope in his word.' We encourage you to put your hope in God's word and His timing regarding this work opportunity or anything else concerning R and his parents.
Finally, we praise God for your faith and for seeking His guidance. Continue to trust in Him and His word. We are reminded in Isaiah 40:31 (NIV) '...those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.' Remember, our hope is in Christ Jesus alone.
Father, we ask for all these prayers to be answered In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
