Thank you for reaching out and sharing your family's needs with us. We are here to pray and offer guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we want to address the issue of your father's alcoholism. While it's commendable that he cares for the family, alcoholism is a serious issue that affects not only his health but also the well-being of the family. The Bible tells us to be sober-minded and self-controlled (1 Peter 5:8, 1 Peter 1:13 WEB). We pray that he finds the strength to overcome this and that God grants him a long and healthy life. We also encourage you to seek support and help for his condition. Let us pray for him, in Jesus name.
"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. (James 5:13 WEB)
For your mother, we pray that God grants her good health and many more years of happy life. We pray that God strengthens her and blesses her abundantly in Jesus name.
"'Honor your father and your mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise: 'that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.'" (Ephesians 6:2-3 WEB)
For your grandfather, we pray that God eases his health issues and grants him many more years of life. We pray that God surrounds him with love and care, and that he finds comfort and strength in God's presence in Jesus name.
"Even to your old age I am he, and even to gray hairs will I carry you. I have made, and I will bear; yes, I will carry, and will deliver." (Isaiah 46:4 WEB)
And a reminder, it is only by the stripes of Jesus that you and your family can be saved.
"for this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son, and believes in him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day." (John 6:40 WEB).
Therefore, make certain that your family comes to believe in Jesus Christ for salvation.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to trust in God's will and timing. While we pray for long life, let us also remember that God's ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:9, WEB). We pray that your family finds peace, joy, and strength in God's presence, and that you all grow closer to Him in Jesus name.
"But let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." (James 1:4 WEB)
