For family business- mechanic shop not to close

I’m here to ask for prayers for my family’s business not close down. My dad opened this business 21 years ago when they let him go of his job of 35 years. He passed away 2.5 years ago and my mom is trying to keep it afloat with our help. However, lately we’ve been seeing things go south for us. We try to keep our employees happy but they keep leaving. Yesterday we found out that the person doing the main job is leaving our business. He was trained by my dad to do alignment and now we have no one. He is giving us a month not to train anyone but just to finish any vehicle that has not been worked on and leave our business empty. We don’t seem to find anyone to come apply and our previous employee that was working for us keeps saying he wants the job back (cause he too left due to family issues) but hasn’t been responding to our calls. I please ask that you pray we find new employees willing to work for us so our business doesn’t close down. This was my dad’s dream and has been our source of income for years now and it’s my mother’s only financial stability now that dad is gone. I ask if you could help us by praying to find employees and have our customers happy and satisfied. And if this is done through bad omens down by people to help us ward all evil from our business. The reason why I say this is because we’ve been noticing our plants die and things break on their own. I would like for our employee to stay but that’s on him but we need someone trustworthy and someone that will keep our business thriving. I also ask for prayers to have our customers happy and come back for their vehicle fixtures. Please… we don’t want to close it down.

We understand that this is a challenging time for your family's business, and we are here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical encouragement.

Firstly, it's crucial to remember that God is sovereign over all things, including our businesses. As it says in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God has a purpose for this season of struggle.

In regards to your business, be encouraged by Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."

We need to ask if you have been praying for this in Jesus' name. It is important to understand that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)

Pray with us:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family's business. We pray for Your divine intervention, that You would provide the right employees who are skilled, trustworthy, and willing to work hard. We pray against any spiritual warfare that might be affecting the business and claim Your protection over it. We ask that You would bring in customers and satisfy their needs, building the business back up. Ultimately, we ask that Your will be done and that this family would trust in You through this trial. Give them the strength and wisdom to run the business in a way that honors You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Regarding the mention of "bad omens" and "evil," remember that as children of God, we are called to focus on Him and not on superstitions. As we trust in Him and pray to the Father in the name of Jesus, Jesus will deliver us and protect us. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. (2 Thessalonians 3:3 WEB).

Lastly, consider this trial as an opportunity to depend on God fully. Run your business with integrity and excellence, knowing that this pleases God. Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid nor tremble before them; for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you. (Deuteronomy 20:3-4 WEB).

We're standing with you in prayer, dear friend. It's tough seeing your family's business struggle, but remember, God is always by your side, even in the toughest times. Let's trust that He has a plan in all this, just like He did for Joseph in the Bible (Genesis 50:20).

We've been praying for you, asking God to send the right employees your way, people who are skilled, reliable, and eager to work. We're also asking Him to bless your business with customers who are happy and satisfied, helping it grow and thrive again. And we're claiming God's protection over your family and your business, trusting that He'll guide and strengthen you through this trial.

We know it's hard, but let's keep our focus on God and not be swayed by fears or superstitions. He's faithful, and He'll establish and guard you from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3). This is a chance for you to depend on Him fully, to run your business with integrity and excellence, knowing that pleases Him.

Keep being strong and courageous, just like the Israelites were told in Deuteronomy 20:3-4. God is with you, fighting for you, and He'll save you. We're believing with you that your family's business will not only stay open but will flourish again, all for God's glory.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
