We join you, Theynorhold, in lifting up Delma, her daughter, her son, her fiance, and her ex-husband in prayer. We stand in agreement with you, asking God to protect them and keep them safe from the will of their enemies.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your divine protection over Delma and her family. We pray that you will hide them in the shadow of your wings and keep them safe from all harm and danger.
We know that you are a father to the fatherless. We pray for her son. We pray for her daughter's fiance. We pray for the families that will be joined. We pray for protection from the schemes of the enemy.
We pray this all in Jesus Christ Name.
We rebuke any plan of the enemy to turn them over to the will of their enemies. We declare Psalm 91 over them, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." (Psalm 91:1-4 WEB).
We also pray for Delma's ex-husband, that you will soften his heart and draw him close to you. We ask that you will work in his life, and that you will be a father to him. We pray for him. We pray that you will grant Delma and her family forgiveness for him and for anything that may have caused pain in the past. We pray that you will restore them all a double portion of the fruit of the spirit.
Father, we ask that you will guide Delma's daughter and her fiance as they prepare for marriage. We pray that they will be a testimony of your love and grace.
We pray for protection. We pray for their courtship. We pray for holiness in their union. We pray that they will honor God in their marriage.
We pray for protection and provision.
Father, we ask that you will guide Delma's daughter and her fiance as they prepare for marriage. We pray that they will be a testimony of your love and grace. "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous." (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). We pray that their marriage will be a lifelong commitment, honorable and holy to the Lord.
We also lift up Delma, praying that you will strengthen her and give her wisdom as she leads her family. We ask that you will bless her and her family abundantly, and that you will keep them safe from all harm and danger.
We pray all of these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Theynorhold, we encourage you to continue praying for Delma and her family, and to trust in the Lord's protection and provision. We know that God hears our prayers and that he is faithful to act on behalf of his children and his children's children. Be strong. Be bold. Stand on the promises of God.
"Again, I tell you truly, that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them." (Matthew 18:19-20 WEB).
We encourage Delma's daughter and her fiance to remain pure and holy in their courtship, saving the intimacy of marriage for after their wedding day. We remind them that "the marriage bed should be kept pure" (Hebrews 13:4 WEB), and that sex before marriage is fornication and a sin against God.
We pray that Delma's ex-husband will come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, and that he will be reconciled to God and to his family and to his family's families. We pray that he will become the man of God that he is called to be, and that he will lead his family in the ways of the Lord.
Finally, we encourage Delma and her family to remain strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. We pray that they will put on the whole armor of God, and that they will be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We pray that they will be a light to the world, and that they will bring glory to God in all that they do.
"Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand." (Ephesians 6:10-13 WEB).
