Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Valaensa, we are lifting up your co-worker Cliff in prayer, trusting that God will intervene in his situation. We pray that God will touch Cliff from the top of his head to the soles of his feet, bringing healing and restoration to his body.
However, we must address that your prayer is not in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we can approach God the Father, and it is in His name that we have the authority to pray and seek God's intervention. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Cliff, Valaensa's co-worker, to You. Lord, You know his needs and the problems he is facing from his head to his feet. We ask that You touch him, heal him, and restore him. We pray for Your grace and mercy to be upon him. We also pray for Valaensa, that You would reveal Yourself to her and give her the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Lord, draw her closer to You and help her in her walk with you In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Valaensa please learn to pray in Jesus name as Jesus Christ is who we come to God in the name of. The Bible commands Christians to pray in Jesus' name. To pray in Jesus' name means to pray in His character and will according to who He is as revealed in Scripture. To pray in His name is to pray in the authority that He has given. To pray for Cliff in his name is to pray in the authority and power of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. When we pray in His name in faith according to His will, the resources of heaven are at our disposal. It would be like ordering something on Amazon or Ebay and not using a name. If we did that, we would never receive what we ordered because it needs to be in a name otherwise it is not accepted.
John 14:13-14 in the World English Bible says "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." Jesus Christ is the name for praying to God the Father. When we end our prayers "in Jesus' name," we are acknowledging His central role in our approaching God the Father. That is why we pray in Jesus' name.
