Let us bring Baltimore before the Lord, seeking His strength and success for this city.
The scriptures reminds us For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. We are also told that God is not a respecter of persons. This means that God shows no partiality and that everyone needs to come to know Him through Jesus Christ.
However, we are also told that if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. This means that for God to heal Baltimore, the people must humble themselves, pray, seek God, and turn from wickedness.
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We cannot just ask for strength and success, we must be the salt and light of this world in order to receive God's blessings.
We must all turn to God in humility and repentance so that He can heal our land. Let us seek God's face and His will for Baltimore.
Lord, we come before You, lifting up the city of Baltimore. We pray that the people of Charm City would turn to You, seeking Your face and Your will for their lives and their city. We pray for the leaders of Baltimore, that they would govern with wisdom and integrity, and that they would humble themselves before You. We ask that You would pour out Your Spirit on this city, bringing revival and healing. We ask for great strength and success for Baltimore based upon the city turning to you. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Let us encourage the people of Baltimore to be strong and courageous, as we know God loves this city and everyone in it.
