Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother Powers and his son B. Lord, we ask for your divine healing touch upon B's body. We pray that you would guide the surgeons and medical professionals as they perform the surgeries, granting them wisdom, skill, and precision. May the surgeries be successful, with excellent care and good reports.

Lord, we specifically lift up B's spleen issue to you. We ask that you would bring about a smooth resolution and that the issue would be benign. We pray for complete healing and restoration in B's body. May your healing power flow through him, bringing wholeness and health.

We thank you, Lord, for the support and prayers of Powers' family and all the prayer warriors standing with them. We ask that you would strengthen and encourage them during this time. Lord, we also lift up the silent prayer requests that Powers has mentioned. You know the needs and burdens of each heart, and we ask that you would intervene and bring deliverance from every evil.

Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and love. We trust in your perfect plan and purpose for B's life. May your peace and comfort surround Powers and his family as they place their trust in you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

God’s word and our prayer:

Job 23:8

“But if I go to the east, he is not there; if I go to the west, I do not find him. Commentary on this verse: 23:8-12 Job knew that the Lord was every where present; but his mind was in such confusion, that he could get no fixed view of God's merciful presence, so as to find comfort by spreading his case before him. His views were all gloomy. God seemed to stand at a distance, and frown upon him. Yet Job expressed his assurance that he should be brought forth, tried, and approved, for he had obeyed the precepts of God. He had relished and delighted in the truths and commandments of God. Here we should notice that Job justified himself rather than God, or in opposition to him, ch. 32:2. Job might feel that he was clear from the charges of his friends, but boldly to assert that, though visited by the hand of God, it was not a chastisement of sin, was his error. And he is guilty of a second, when he denies that there are dealings of Providence with men in this present life, wherein the injured find redress, and the evil are visited for their sins. Our prayer: Prayer for Job 23:10 ► “Yet He knows the way I have taken; when He has tested me, I will emerge as pure gold.” Praying through Job 23:10 Loving Father, we don’t understand all that is going on in our lives, but our times are in Your hands and so are the circumstances of those that we love. Thank You that all we face is under the shadow of Your protection. We pray that when we have been tried, we too will come forth as gold. Favor and wisdom for Docs and nurses (Acts 7:10), favor as a shield with staff for Powers, friends and family (Ps 5:12), no diseases on your people (Ex 15:26-27).
