I had been dismissed from my job in September. A recruiter contacted me regarding a job I was very interested in. It is now up to the hiring manager to invite me for an interview. I'm praying for positive news.

We understand that you are seeking prayer for a job interview and to receive the job, especially after the disappointment of being dismissed from your previous position. We are here to pray with you and encourage you in this process.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God has a plan and purpose for your life, and He is always working for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28, WEB). Even when we face setbacks, God can turn them into opportunities for growth and blessing.

In this time of waiting, we encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). This means putting your trust in God's timing and His will for your life.

Regarding your job interview, we pray that the hiring manager will see the qualities and skills that you possess and that you will have favor in their eyes (Proverbs 3:3-4, WEB). We pray that the Lord will grant you wisdom and discernment in this process. For every good and perfect gift is from above coming down from the father of lights (James 1:17) Therefore if it be His will you get the job it will be a gift from above, but be patient to wait on the Lord and His will (Psalm 37:7, Psalm 40:1, Hebrews 10:36)

However, it is crucial to remember that our ultimate trust should be in God and not in any job or human effort. Our hope should be in the Lord, and He will provide for our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19, WEB).

Let us pray for and with you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in Jesus Christ, lifting up ### to You. Lord, You know the desires of their heart and the needs of their life. We pray that You will guide them through this job search process and that Your will be done in their life.

Lord, we pray that You will open the doors that need to be opened and close the ones that need to be closed. Grant ### favor, but we pray for a gift from above according to your will. We pray that the job obtained will assist and strengthen them to live for the Lord, allowing them to praise Him more and give their family strength and provision. Allow them to do their work as if they are doing it for the Lord (Col 3:23) Grant ### confidence through the interview process to be calm and relaxed trusting in You. Grant them peace and patience as they wait for Your divine plan to unfold in their life.

We also pray for the hiring manager, that You will guide them in making the right decision. May ### trust that whatever the outcome is You are in control. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. Stay strong to the Lord and His Word. Praise Him and live by faith.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. O Father God we lift up ###'s prayer to you for a breakthrough in their job search and that they will find success in their job search and be hired soon O Lord. We humbly ask that you pour out Your favor and blessings on ### today in their Job Search. Please place your grace for acceptance, grace for success, grace for divine connections in and on their job search so that they are successful and find employment now. We humbly ask in your mercy to hear and answer ###'s prayer on this day. Also Lord, while they wait, please place your peace beyond understanding over and in their lives, please let provide a supportive and compassionate network of supporters during this time, please place good connectors in their lives who will happily help them to find employment.
