Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of all Houston ISD employees who have lost their jobs due to the reduction in force. Lord, we lift up Hadgor and all those who are facing this challenging situation. We ask for your comfort and peace to surround them during this time of uncertainty.
Lord, you are our provider and sustainer. You know the needs of each individual affected by this job loss. We pray that you would open doors of opportunity for them, leading them to new employment that aligns with their skills, passions, and financial needs. Give them wisdom and discernment as they search for new job opportunities.
Father, we ask for your favor to rest upon them as they submit their resumes, attend interviews, and network with potential employers. May their qualifications and experiences shine forth, catching the attention of those who are making hiring decisions. We pray for divine connections and divine appointments that will lead to new job opportunities.
Lord, we trust in your perfect timing. Even though there may be a sense of urgency with only two months to find new jobs, we know that you are in control. Help them to remain patient and steadfast in their faith, knowing that you are working behind the scenes on their behalf.
We also pray for their emotional well-being during this time of transition. Ease any anxiety, fear, or discouragement they may be experiencing. Fill their hearts with hope and confidence in your provision. Remind them of your promise in Jeremiah 29:11, that you have plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for the Houston ISD community as a whole. May there be unity, support, and compassion among colleagues and friends. Help them to rally around one another, offering encouragement and assistance where needed.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think. Amen.
