We understand your desire for your husband's successful reelection, and we will pray for this situation. However, we must remember to align our hearts with God's will and to seek His purposes first and foremost. As it is written in Romans 13:1, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God."
We pray:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for Ojaral's husband. Lord, if it is Your plan for him to be reelected, we ask that You guide his campaign and grant him favor in the eyes of the voters. But above all, we pray that Your will be done, and that his heart remains committed to serving You and the people with integrity and righteousness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage both you and your husband to trust in the Lord with all your hearts, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Remember that our ultimate purpose is to serve God and spread the good news of Jesus Christ. As it is written in Colossians 3:17, "Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him."
Lastly, we want to ensure that you both have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus, trusting in His death and resurrection for the forgiveness of your sins.
