For a mother from her child

Hello! I can no longer attend church at all, but I still hope that you can be able to send this prayer out to everyone. My mother is struggling with her job, as she is dealing with an overdemanding boss who has now resorted to firing one of her coworkers and putting the workload of many on her. She is not getting paid very much and is constantly insulted by her boss who claims to be for God but has been acting otherwise. She's called her names and mistreated her many times to the point where my mother feels anxious around her. On top of that, this church used to be her safe haven, a place where she could come to God and be around others who have a desire to seek His kingdom first above all else. Unfortunately, she, and the rest of my siblings as well as myself have been stopped from attending this church due to our father, telling my mother that church has been the problem in our family after she told him that she felt the happiest at ### last year. He instructed her to stop attending the church saying that he had another one to attend only to quit attending any church overall while still stopping the rest of our family from attending. He does not believe in tithing or offerings which contradicts with what my mother believes, causing disputes amongst them but also putting the children in a tight spot because we really have enjoyed working in the children's department during the time we had at this church. Not only has he done that, but he had also cut off most of the hot water in our house and refuses to turn on the heat until dark which has contributed to three of us children catching a cold. He continues to mistreat my mother and deny his actions when any other family member questions his treatment towards us, causing stress on my mother as well as the children and we have been enduring this treatment for multiple years. I truly believe that God will make a way for all of us when there seems to be no way, but I ask that you keep this family in your prayers. We are truly saddened to hear about the trials your family is facing, and we are committed to praying and offering biblical guidance for your situation.

Firstly, we want to address the issue of your mother's workplace. It is clear that her boss is acting contrary to the principles laid out in the Bible. In Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, it says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." And in Ephesians 6:9 WEB, "You masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with him." We pray that God will convict her boss's heart and bring about a change, or that He will provide a better job opportunity for your mother.

Now, regarding your father's actions, it is important to remember that God calls husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church, and to lead their families in righteousness. In Ephesians 5:25-26 WEB it says, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word." Your father's actions are not aligning with these principles. In situations where the husband is not fulfilling his roles, it is important to speak the truth in love, pray for him, seek counsel from godly elders, and trust in God's sovereignty. God can turn the hearts of kings, and He can certainly change your father's heart. We pray that your father will have a true encounter with Jesus Christ and that his heart will be turned towards His family.

We also want to remind you that God has a plan and purpose for your family. In Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, it says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Trust in His promises and His goodness.

Moreover, it is crucial to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this family to Your throne of grace. Lord, we pray for this mother, that You will strengthen her and provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory. We ask that You will soften or remove the heart of her boss, and that You will provide a better job opportunity if it is Your will.

Lord, we also pray for the father. We ask that You will turn his heart towards You and his family. Convict him of his actions, and bring about a true change in his life. Help him to become the husband and father You have called him to be.

Father, we also pray for the children. Protect them, heal them, and help them to grow strong in You. Give them wisdom and discernment, and help them to honor their parents in the midst of these trials.

Lord, we ask all of this in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We're here for you and your family. We're sorry to hear about the struggles your mother is facing at work and the challenges your family is going through. We want to assure you that God sees and hears everything, and He cares deeply about each one of you.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We pray that God will heal your mother's heart and strengthen her as she goes through this difficult time. We also pray that God will intervene in her workplace, softening the heart of her boss and bringing about a change for the better. We ask that God will provide a way out of this situation, perhaps even a new job opportunity that aligns with her values and allows her to serve Him better.

Regarding your father, we're encouraged by 1 Peter 3:4, "But let it be the beauty of your heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God." We pray that your mother's gentle and quiet spirit will be a witness to your father, drawing him closer to God and helping him to see the errors in his ways. We also pray that God will give your mother the strength and wisdom to navigate this situation, trusting in Him even when things seem uncertain.
