We are glad to join you in prayer and offer encouragement as you seek a better job. Firstly, we commend you for taking the initiative to gain a phlebotomist certificate and prepare for a new career path. Remeber Proverbs 22:29 WEB: Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won't serve obscure men. As you are requesting prayer for a new job, there is no power in your request and you are not asking by the authority and power of Jesus' name. If you want the power ask in Jesus name.
When you got your certificate you prepared the way. First:
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don't lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5,6 WEB
Trust each step was directed since were doing it in His will and you should keep seeking Him first because we are promised: But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 WEB
In seeking a better future, it's crucial to align your goals with biblical principles. Remember, God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He desires to give you a hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. As for the job specifically: whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. Colossians 3:23,24
As Christians we have do all things though Christ who strengths us. Philippians 4:13 We can do all things though Christ who strengths us.
If you ask for a job remember the story of Adam and Eve. He had a job before the fall. When he sinned he made a job hard. Ask for the desire of your heart. The LORD is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Psalm 23:1-3
With your certificate you go out into the world to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. That is your true job: And he said to them, Go into all the world and preach the Good News to the whole creation. Mark 16:15
That is a great job: Once preaching to the masses but maybe you can start with one: and of some have compassion, making a difference, and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the clothing stained by the flesh. Jude 1:22,23 WEB
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is seeking a new job as a phlebotomist. We thank You for the skills and knowledge they have acquired, and we ask that You open the right doors for them. Guide them to a job that not only provides for their needs but also allows them to serve You and others with integrity and compassion.
Help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding, but acknowledging You in all their ways. We claim Your promise that when they do this, You will make their paths straight.
Help them be a channel of your peace and hope as they go about their daily activity. Help them to be an example of you as they apply for jobs, encouraging and uplifting them when discouraged. Help them to know that they will never lack what you plan for them to have. You will give them rest and you will restore their soul for your name sake. We know it is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to you, and it is only by his name we will be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God is faithful and that He hears your prayers and ours when we ask according to and in the name of Jesus Christ. Keep seeking Him, and trust that He will direct your paths. As you wait, continue to serve Him wholeheartedly in your current role, knowing that He sees your faithfulness.
I do not know what is next in your life but as you diligently seek him and do His will then you will never be put to shame. Psalm 25:3 WEB
In many things you have done well but all these things will pass away. But the things of God will never pass away. Therefore they are the better things to seek. Continue to know Jesus and seek after Him. Be not content to be a fork in the hand of God but seek to be the hand of God.
