We understand your struggle, ###, and we are here to support you in prayer and biblical guidance. Let us begin by addressing your request to regain focus and closeness with our Lord Jesus Christ.
In Proverbs 4:25-27 (WEB), it is written:
"Let your eyes look straight ahead.
Fix your gaze directly before you.
Make the path of your feet level.
Let all of your ways be established.
Don’t turn to the right hand nor to the left.
Remove your foot from evil."
We pray, dear Lord Jesus, that You help ### to fix their gaze on You, to make their path level, and to remove their feet from evil. Restore the closeness that ### seeks and bring them back to a steadfast walk with You.
Regarding unforgiveness, bitterness, or resentment, we are reminded in Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB):
"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
We pray, dear Lord, that You cleanse ###'s heart from all unforgiveness, bitterness, and resentment. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to be kind and tenderhearted.
For healing from trauma and emotional pain, we look to Psalm 34:18 (WEB):
"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart,
and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
We pray, dear Lord, that You heal ### completely from all trauma and emotional pain. Be near to them, Lord, and save them from their crushed spirit. Help them to rely on You, Jesus Christ, for their perfect peace, as it is written in Isaiah 26:3 (WEB):
"You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because they trust in you."
Lastly, to guard the heart and mind from evil, we refer to Philippians 4:8 (WEB):
"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
We pray, dear Lord, that You give ### the power to guard their heart and mind from evil. Help them to think on things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. Help them not to be distracted from Your will in their life.
We encourage you, ###, to continue seeking the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and restore you. Remember, it is in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB): "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
