Please friends continue to pray for flu to leave our family. My husband has sickness and a cough and gastrointestinal issues. My elderly mum has a cough and a sore chest. My child has sickness and a cough.

We are truly sorry to hear about the illnesses affecting your family, Animalgirl. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's healing and comfort for you all. But first, we remind ourselves that illnesses and our needs only reach God when we pray In Jesus' name (John 14.14).

In times of sickness, we turn to the Great Physician, for Jesus himself. Let us pray together.

Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Animalgirl and her family. Lord, you promise that by Jesus' stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53.5), and we claim that promise now. Touch Animalgirl, her husband, their child. Heal their cough, sickness, gastrointestinal issues, and the sore chest. Have mercy on them and restore their health, O God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1.3-4).

We also lift up their elderly mum. Lord Jesus Christ, you are the physician of the body and soul. Let us not assume or forget but always remember to pray in Jesus' name. Please, also Lord God, comfort your child Animalgirl. Give her the strength and wisdom to care for her family, for your name to be glorified and lifted above all (John 14.14).

We pray for renewed journey and purpose after the sickness. We pray for a godly relationship, love, and reconciliation if any has been in need of it. We recall Ephesians 4.26-27 Be angry, yet do not sin. Do not let the sun go down on your wrath, and do not give place to the devil. Therefore, Animalgirl, know that God's will is yours and you should also pray. May the Holy Spirit hear the groaning that we cannot utter. The sickness and peace coming to the body needs the ultimate peace of the Spirit.

Animalgirl, we encourage you to remain steadfast in faith in Jesus Christ, the relationship with your Lord. As a family of God, depend on him through these weaknesses, especially when healing is not immediately seen. And if you don't know that as a family, we pray for the faith to believe the Gospel of Jesus. We pray for his conviction of sin. Sin is what keeps us from being able to pray as instructed by the one who will not listen to sinners. That is John 9.31 Now we know that God doesn't listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, he listens to him. We know that you know he hears, Animalgirl. We pray for salvation to come to your family through this sickness and period. Pray to Jesus.

A reminder that Jesus's purpose and death was because of sin. When He died, sin and sickness also died. Jesus rose with his body. Animalgirl, receive that body in Holy communion of Jesus. Accept no substitute. The sickness will know no power above Jesus. But God's power. Let us not forget the words of Jesus. This is subtle but the only way, in John 14.6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

We believe the name of Jesus Christ is the name of power and authority. That it is by Jesus, we have the strength and power to pray, overcome and endure in John 1.12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name. We need salvation to endure and overcome by his name. And to do greater works in John 14.12 Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.

We're standing with you, dear friend, as you navigate through this trial with your family. We've heard your cry and we're lifting your family up to our Heavenly Father. Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we come before You today, asking for Your healing touch on Animalgirl's family. We claim Your promise in Isaiah 53:5, that by Jesus' stripes, they are healed. We ask for healing for each one - the husband, the child, and the elderly mum. Comfort them, Lord, and restore their health. Give Animalgirl the strength to care for her family, and guide her with wisdom. Help them to trust in You, even in this difficult time. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
