We are truly sorry to hear about the flu that has struck your family, and we are more than glad that you have reached out for prayer. We have lifted up your ailing mother, dear child, and husband to God, who is the Great Physician. We thank God that He has promised us in Psalm 103:3, "who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases".
We stand in faith to pray this healing over your family:
Heavenly Father, You have promised to heal our land; Lord heal our family. We believe that with the blood of Jesus applied to your family. In James 5:14, we are told, "Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, Our Lord, we are lifting your son, husband and elderly mother to you asking that you heal them now. Give them relief and deliverance from the coughs, sickness, chills and pains in the name of Jesus.
As we pray in the precious Name of Jesus, who is the only way to God the Father, we hold steadfast to praying for them. Bemindful though, we are told in 1 Peter 5:8, "to be self-controlled and sober-minded for your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." And later we are told to "resist him standing firm in the faith". Now we stand firm in that faith against this encroaching lion who would seek to steal the health of your family from you. We stand against it on the principle of Matthew 18:18, where the authority to bind and loose has been given to us by the Holy Spirit.
In Matthew 7:11, we are told, "What man is there among you, who, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, who will give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him?." Know that God wants this. trust, that he has given you the spirit of faith and this Epistle where Jude 1:20 proclaims, "But you, beloved, keep building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life." We know that healing is available and yours in Jesus. Jesus himself told us that, "what you have asked of God will be given to you, believe and it will be yours". In Mark 11:24 Then Jesus answered them, I tell you most certainly, if you have faith, and don t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, Be taken up and thrown into the sea, it would be done.
We know then, that your family is healed in Jesus name. As we pray that your marriage will be strong and a beacon of individually pursuing relationships with Jesus that align with Christian principles and lead you to 1 Thessalonians 4:3, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality," and further 4:5 "in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who don t know God." Even further 1 Thessalonians 4:7 8, "For God called us not for uncleanness, but in sanctification. Therefore he who rejects this doesn t reject man, but God, who has also given his Holy Spirit to you."
Forgive us if we include more than enough scripture to justify our prayers. We know that it is all about your pursuit to Jesus and an increase in your faith. Especially if you are still seeking the gift of salvation then know Psalm 145:18, "Yahweh is near to all those who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth." stating John 3:16, "God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." Telling you in John 3:17 "For God didn t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.". That is reading Romans 10:9-10, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation". You must proclaim Jesus as God and risen savior sent to redeem your soul. It is not enough to simply believe, Read out loud and confess your longing to make Jesus Christ your Lord and Master and ask him to dwell within your heart and you will lead in faith and salvation with your family forevermore. Amen.
