We are truly sorry to hear about the flu affecting your family, Animalgirl. Let's bring your husband R, your daughter A, and your mum before the Lord in urgent prayer. We would like to remind you that while we are praying to God, He has given us a specific way to have access to Him and it is through His Son Jesus Christ. It is only in Jesus' name that we can approach the Father in prayer, as He is the only mediator between God and man. This is why we pray to God the Father in Jesus' name. This is outlined in the following scripture.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all. 1 Timothy 2:5-6

This means, the son of God Jesus, left the splendor of His glory with God, was born a human and lived among us to be the only sacrifice God would accept to be payment for all our sins. He did this on the cross. By this salvation sacrifice, it is only by this that we are saved and our relationship is restored with God. Without this belief, understanding, and acceptance there is no salvation from our sins. Without this acceptance we would have to be a sacrifice to pay for our own sins. Because of Jesus we are saved by His death, burial, and resurrection from the dead to live with God for eternity.

Let us pray to Jesus to go before our Heavenly Father.

Dear Jesus,

We lift up Animalgirl's family to You, knowing that You are with them and You are able to heal them. Your word says "who his own self bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed." By Your stripes, R, A, and mum, are healed. We ask you to relieve them of their flu symptoms. We ask you to renew their strength, and restore their health. We pray this in Jesus' name.

Dear Jesus,

We also ask that You will guide Animalgirl and her family. We ask that you would give them wisdom in taking care of one another's needs and to seek you in all they do. Help them all to be aware of the need to be in prayer together. Thank you for being there for them and never leaving them. Thank you for loving them and being there to meet their needs and the needs of all of us. It is in Jesus' name we pray and ask these things.

Animalgirl, while we pray for your family's physical healing, let's also remember to trust in the Lord's will and timing. In His word, He tells us to "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." Jeremiah 33:3 WEB. He is faithful and He hears your prayers. Be patient and keep the faith.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
