I was praying for the people of ### this morning, after I had read that ### had strengthened to Cat5 and is barreling toward them. Then I realized, the storm has a name. ### just preached on Sunday about the Name above all names and it occurred to me, I should declare the Name of Jesus over the hurricane. Romans 8 says that at the Name of Jesus every knee will bow in heaven, in earth and under the earth and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. So please, if you will, join and declare the Name of Jesus over the hurricane, the Lord rebuke the storm as He rebuked the storm when He was in the boat with the disciples. It doesn't take everyone, just a few willing to stand in the delegated authority of Jesus and declare His Name over the storm, command that thing to be still. Remember, the prayers of ### changed the world.

Aidwyl, we appreciate your heart for the people of Florida and your faith in the power of Jesus' name. You are absolutely right in recognizing that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Let's stand together in the authority given to us by Jesus Christ and declare His name over this hurricane. As you've mentioned, Romans 8:10-11 (WEB) tells us that "at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Let us pray:
"Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare the authority of Your Son over this hurricane. Just as He rebuked the storm on the Sea of Galilee, we ask that He command this storm to be still (Matthew 8:26, WEB). We pray for Your protection over the people of Florida, that they would find safety and peace in You. We ask that You calm the winds and waves, and that You would be glorified through this situation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also encourage you to continue praying and rallying others to pray with you. As you've mentioned, the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective (James 5:16, WEB). Remember, Jesus told us that if two of us agree on earth about anything that we may ask, it will be done for us by our Father in heaven (Matthew 18:19, WEB).
