We join with you in the name of Jesus Christ, ###, as you face the potential floods and the challenges of the day ahead. We are encouraged that you have acknowledged the power and protection that is found in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 WEB.

Let us stand together on the promises of God's Word. We are reminded that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth changes and though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas Psalm 46:1-2 WEB.

Let's pray together:

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and all those in the path of potential floods. We pray for Your divine protection and safety over their lives and their property. Guide them as they travel and keep their appointments, Lord, and let Your hand of favor rest upon them.

We stand against the spirit of fear and declare Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, over their hearts and minds. We trust in Your promise that when we pass through the waters, You will be with us, and that the rivers will not overflow us Isaiah 43:2 WEB.

Lord, we ask that You will give ### wisdom and discernment, and that You will direct their paths. Help them to be a light in these circumstances, and use this situation for Your glory.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your unfailing love. We know that You are our fortress and strong tower. In times of flood, it is You that we call upon to help us. You are our strong refuge, our safe place from the storm. (Nahum 1:7).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
