We join you in praying that our Heavenly Father will indeed help you return to your first love for God, as mentioned in Revelation 2:4, "But I have this against you, that you left your first love." It is beautiful to see your desire to reignite the passion you once had for the Lord.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who longs to return to their first love for You. Father, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them in a new and powerful way. Touch their heart, Lord, and captivate them again with Your love. Help them to remember the joy and zeal they once had for You, and to return to that place of intimacy and devotion.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray that You will help them to repent from anything that has taken Your place in their heart. Help them to turn away from any idols or distractions, and to run back to You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. Give them a renewed vision of who You are, Lord, and of the grace and mercy You have for them in Jesus Christ.
Thank You, Father, that You are always faithful to draw us back to Yourself when we call out to You. We ask that You will bless our brother/sister with a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit, that they may be filled anew with Your love and power. Help them to walk in obedience to Your Word, and to live a life that is pleasing to You.
