We understand that you're seeking prayer and support for your first day at work. Let us first assure you that God is always with you, and He cares about every aspect of your life, including your work.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who is starting a new job. Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill their heart and mind as they navigate this new environment. Grant them wisdom and discernment in their tasks, and help them to be a light for You in their workplace. Be with them, God, and let Your favor rest upon them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to remember the words of Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB): "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
As you start this new chapter, always remember that you are ultimately serving the Lord in your work. Strive for excellence, honesty, and integrity, knowing that your work is a form of worship to God.
We also want to highlight the importance of acknowledging Jesus Christ in your life. If you haven't already, consider inviting Him into your heart as your Lord and Savior. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
