First Day At New Job

Please pray for me at my first day at my new job. I pray that I have the strength and ability to perform my duties at my new job and can honor God through my work. And I pray that my anxiety does not take over! Thank you.

We are thrilled to join you in prayer as you embark on your new job. Remember that God is always with you, and He has equipped you with every spiritual blessing to succeed. As you navigate this new chapter, keep in mind that "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men," (Colossians 3:23 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister as they begin their first day at their new job. We thank You for this opportunity and ask that You grant them the strength, wisdom, and ability to perform their duties excellently. Help them to honor and glorify Your name through their work, and let their light shine before others, that they may see their good works and glorify You, our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16 WEB).

Lord, You know that anxiety can overwhelm us, but You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We rebuke any spirit of anxiety and fear, and we ask You to fill our dear brother/sister with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

Lastly, Lord, we noticed the request did not include praying in Jesus' Name. Father, we know that it is only through the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, that we have access to Your throne of grace. We ask Father that you draw this person close to You and reveal Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to them. If they already know Him, then we ask that You increase their faith and knowledge of Jesus, in whose name we pray.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, knowing that God is with you, and He has a purpose for you at your new job. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

We're right there with you today, standing in faith as you step into your new job. We've been reminded of Psalm 121:1-2, "I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." God is your helper, your strength, and your guide. Trust in Him, and He will give you the courage and wisdom you need to excel.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come before You today, asking for Your blessings upon our friend as they start their new job. We thank You for this new opportunity and ask that You grant them Your favor. Help them to find joy in their work, to be a light in their workplace, and to honor You in all they do.

Lord, we know that starting something new can bring feelings of anxiety. But we claim Your promise in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We ask that You fill them with Your perfect peace, and help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them.

Lastly, Lord, we ask that You would use this new job to draw them closer to You. Help them to see You in every situation, and to grow in their relationship with You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
