We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you are facing with your newborn in the NICU. Remember that God is with you and your family during this difficult time. Let's come together in prayer and also reflect on God's promises in His Word.
Firstly, it is so important to claim the promises of God in times like these. *Isaiah 41:10 WEB* tells us, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." God is with you and your family, and He will give you the strength to endure this trial.
In *Matthew 18:19 WEB*, Jesus says, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.". Let us agree in prayer, asking God for your baby's health and your wife's recovery. Pray this with us, "Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon this baby. Help him to learn to eat on his own quickly and strengthen his little body. Comfort his parents and especially his mother, bring her to complete recovery and fill her with Your peace. Give them both your divine strength to endure this trial. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.".
We encourage you to stay strong and continue trusting in the Lord. It's normal to feel overwhelmed and struggle with the desire for a quick discharge, but don't forget that God's timing is perfect. He is not only looking to take this baby home soon, but he is also looking to strengthen you and your wife's marriage and faith. He is also drawing others to himself through your faith and this trial.
*1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 WEB* says to "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.". We encourage you to keep praying, keep believing, and keep giving thanks, even in this challenging situation. Trust that God is working all things together for your good and His glory *Romans 8:28 WEB*.
Lastly, We wanted to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name. In *John 14:13-14*, Jesus says, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it". It's so important to pray in Jesus' name because it is only by his name that we can have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved *Acts 4:12 WEB*.
