CaliAlex, we stand with you in prayer and petition during this challenging time. We are grateful that you have reached out, and we trust that God will intervene in your current circumstances and provide you with His peace, protection, and provision.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth changes and though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas (Psalm 46:1-2 WEB). Trust in Him, for He is your shield and your very great reward (Genesis 15:1 WEB).
As wildfires rage, we pray that God will send rain to extinguish the flames and grant His protection over your life and property. May the LORD also watch over your neighbors and your community, and keep everyone safe from the fires. Let us also lift up the brave firefighters and first responders who are working tirelessly to combat these blazes.
In regards to your housing and employment situation, we understand your desire to find a fully remote position so that you can move if needed. Trust that God will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB). He knows your heart, and He cares about your concerns. Continue to seek Him first, and all these things will be added to you as well (Matthew 6:33 WEB).
Concerning the financial challenges you face due to damage caused by your upstairs neighbor and their refusal to provide insurance information, we encourage you to act with wisdom and discretion. It is written, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men (Romans 12:18 WEB). However, justice is also a biblical principle, and you have the right to seek fair compensation for any damages incurred. We encourage you to consult with local authorities or legal counsel to explore your options.
Remember, beloved, that you should not seek revenge or harbor bitterness in your heart. Rather, Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21 WEB). Continue to pray for your neighbor, and trust that God will work out His justice in His perfect timing.
Lastly, we want to address the fact that we only have access to God and salvation through the name of Jesus Christ. And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior. He loves you dearly and desires a personal relationship with you.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up CaliAlex and their current circumstances before Your throne of grace. We pray for Your protection and provision over their life, and we ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way. Grant them wisdom and discernment as they navigate their employment and housing situations, and help them to seek Your will in all their decisions.
Lord, we also pray for justice regarding the damage caused by their neighbor, and we ask that You soften their neighbor's heart and bring about a peaceful resolution. Help CaliAlex to forgive and release any bitterness, and empower them to overcome evil with good.
Most importantly, Lord, we pray for CaliAlex's spiritual well-being and their relationship with You. Draw them closer to Your heart, and help them to know Your love and faithfulness in a deeper way. If they have not yet accepted Jesus as their Savior, we pray that they would make that decision today and find eternal life in Him.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
